ONLINE REGISTRATION

THE FEDERATION RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CLOSE THE REGISTRATION when we reach full capacity, or September 23, wichever comes first.

REGISTRATION CHECK DAY

ALL ATHLETES MUST CHECK THEIR REGISTRATION INFORMATION ON THE REGISTRATION CHECK DAY - SEPTEMBER 28th ON OUR WEBSITE www.usjjf.com

Corrections by e-mail:
The athletes can send one e-mail with changes on the registration at no charge, by sending a email to ibjjf@ibjjf.org with the subject 'AMERICAN NATIONAL CORRECTION'. The deadline is September 25th 5PM GMT -7.

Registration Check day:
The athletes must make sure that their information is correct by checking the website on the registration list for their weight, belt, academy, age division, and name information. If there are any mistakes on the information (ei. typing mistakes by USJJF) please send an email to ibjjf@ibjjf.org. (deadline September 25th, 5PM GMT -7) .

The USJJF staff will be available at the Jiu Jitsu Pro Gear store on September 28th for the registration check day, from 1:00PM to 5:00PM GMT -7. September 28th will be the last chance for any corrections on the registration information. Any change on the registration that was not a mistake by the USJJF organization will have a fee of $20.

The brackets will be released before the tournament . On Saturday, September 29th the brackets will be available online at our website.

After the registration check day, no changes will be made and no refunds will be given.

During the tournament, any mistakes on the brackets that were not correct previous to sign-in check day will lead to immediate disqualification .

DIVISIONS

Junior 16/17 year-olds

  • Only bluebelts

  • Men only

  • 16 and 17 year-olds will compete in the same division

  • Athletes born on 1990 and 1991 are eligible to compete

  • Fight time: 5 minutes

  • There is no open class.

Adults

  • The division is open for everyone, but athletes of other age divisions willing to compete here will not be allowed to fight in their own division (athletes can only enroll in one age division)

  • Fight time:
white belt 5 minutes
blue belt 6 minutes
purple belt 7 minutes
brown belt 8 minutes
black belt 10 minutes

Masters (30-35)

  • Athletes born between 1972 and 1977

  • Fight Time:
White belt 5 minutes
Blue belt 5 minutes
Purple/brown/black belts 6 minutes

Men only

Seniors 1 (36-40)

  • Athletes born between 1967 and 1971.

  • Fight time: Blue/Purple/brown/black belts - 5 minutes

  • Men only

Seniors 2 (41-45)

  • Athletes born between 1962 and 1966.

  • Fight time: Blue/Purple/brown/black belts - 5 minutes

  • Men only

Seniors 3 (over 46)

  • Athletes born in 1961 and before.

  • Fight time: Blue/Purple/brown/black belts - 5 minutes

  • Men only

Women

  • There will be five weight divisions (check weight list)

  • Brown and blackbelts will compete in the same division

  • Adults only

  • Fight Time:
White belt 5 minutes
Blue belt 6 minutes
Purple belt 7 minutes
Brown/black belt 10 minutes

The system will be the same used in the Mundial the last Pan American, the athlete will check the weight after the official call for his first fight, minutes before he steps on the mat, the competitor can check the weight only once, if the competitor doesn't make it, he will be imediatelly disqualified. Make sure you're in the correct weight division, if the competitor doesn't make the weight, no changes will be accepted in the brackets, and there will be no refund on the fee.

All athletes must check weight with the gi on.

The USJJF suggest that all athletes and instructors that signed for this tournament should read the rules.
