Why should I register my academy?
By registering my academy my students will have the privilege to sign up and compete to all IBJJF/USBJJF tournaments representing my academy. Also by registering they will be able to apply for their USBJJF/IBJJF membership ID card. ( All registered academies will be listed on the USBJJF website, under Official schools and by the year of their certification ).
What are the requirements to register my academy?
As a requirement, I must have a black belt, and have a valid membership ID card from the IBJJF. If I am a black belt and am not yet a member or have a valid membership ÏD card, I need to click on the link to request my membership. If I’m already a member, I have the choice to renew my membership.
How do I register my academy?
I can register my academy by filling out and mailing the academy application form with a payment of US$50, either by check or money order. (checks and money order to be made in the name of BJJ international). I should mail all applications to the address:

The academy registration is valid for how long?
As soon as I certify or renew my academy, it will be registered with IBJJF/USBJJF. Yearly after my academy is renewed, it will be listed on the Official schools list on the IBJJF website. Once my academy is registered, but not renewed yearly, my academy will not be on the Official school list on the IBJJF website. Even though my school is registered but not renewed, my students can still be able to register in all IBJJF/USBJJF tournaments and apply for their membership ID cards under my academy name.
When I should renew the academy registration?
My academy should be renewed yearly if I would like to have my academy listed on the USBJJF website as an official IBJJF school. Also If I need to make any changes on the academy certification (ex. academy address, name, adding new professors etc.)
